About the Artist

Rianne van Putten | Fine Artist

Art has always been a way for me to explore the beauty of the world around us. Not only in the extraordinary, but especially in the quiet, often overlooked moments of everyday life.

I am Rianne van Putten, a self-taught Dutch artist with a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, realism, and the timeless beauty of classical art.

Working primarily with oil paints, graphite, acrylics, and watercolours, I create detailed paintings and drawings inspired by nature, light, human expression, and the delicate atmosphere of ordinary moments.

My artistic approach is rooted in patience and observation. I am fascinated by the subtle interaction between light and shadow, the softness of a flower petal, the reflection of a landscape in water, and the emotions that can be captured in a single expression.

Each artwork begins with a sense of curiosity. Through careful layering, attention to detail, and a love for traditional techniques, I aim to create pieces that invite the viewer to pause, look closer, and discover something beyond the visible.

A Place to Create

My studio is situated in the Dutch countryside, surrounded by nature and the changing seasons. Away from the noise and demands of everyday life, it offers a peaceful environment where I can immerse myself in the creative process.

The natural world is a constant source of inspiration, from the smallest details to the ever-changing atmosphere of the landscape.

Beyond the Canvas

Alongside painting and drawing, I explore sculpture and writing. Although each discipline offers a different way of expressing ideas, they all share the same foundation: imagination, craftsmanship, and the desire to create something meaningful.

My work has also taken me beyond the Netherlands through international art exhibitions, offering opportunities to share my artistic vision with a wider audience.

The Art of Looking Closer

I believe art does not always need to make a grand statement. Sometimes its greatest strength lies in stillness, subtlety, and the ability to evoke a feeling without words.

Through RVP Fine Art, I invite you to explore my work and discover the stories, emotions, and quiet beauty that inspire each creation.
